Steps & Staircases

Are you annoyed with the way your staircase or steps look?

Over time staircases and steps can form voids underneath the concrete, leading to settlement issues with your concrete. After a long day, coming home to an uneven staircase or steps going into your house can look uninviting and be dangerous. Steps leading up to your front porch, front door, etc. can drop aggressively, making the step-up inches bigger.

Staircases and steps can sink awkwardly, they can start to pitch aggressively to one side, making everything slanted. This can lead to you or your guests tripping trying to enter your home. If you are experiencing these problems, you will want to consider Slab Jacking instead of replacement.

How to Raise Concrete Stairs

Raising a concrete staircase/step back to its original position is relatively easy and will add integrity back to the concrete staircase/step for years to come. Through a series of drilled holes, Jacksonville Contracting will pump a soil cement slurry underneath the concrete staircase/step and raise it to its original position. The soil cement slurry will fill all voids underneath the concrete which will stabilize the concrete for many years.

The process of raising your staircase/step with the soil cement slurry will improve drainage, fill all voids underneath the concrete, and remove trip hazards on your staircase/step. Your old staircase/step will look and feel new again using this method of concrete raising.
